PVC Insulation

Whatever your connection requirements, St. Cross Electronics has a simple answer.

We make jumpers & assemblies in many combinations for a wide range of applications, hundreds of standard designs as well as custom products.

St. Cross Electronics jumpers are made from UL approved PVC cable & can be supplied in lengths of 25mm to 30M in increments of 1mm & from 2 to 22 conductors, allowing you to choose the exact jumper to solve your interconnect problem most effectively.

Our jumpers are supplied with strip lengths of 3 to 20mm in increments of 0.5mm & are part stripped to protect conductors during storage, except L2607 series that we tin after cutting.

Perhaps you need a jumper from a PCB to a special connector or a switch - no problem; we can notch one end to separate the wires. Contact us for the complete cable assembly.

L2607B & L2407B Series

Stranded pre-bonded for flexibility. The seven strands are twisted & bonded together for ease of insertion into PCB. Upon flexing the bonding breaks down & then acts like seven individual strands.

L2607 Series

Stranded maximum flexibility. Seven individually tinned strands that are then over tinned on the stripped ends. Optional rainbow colour coding available on 24AWG.

Nomex Insulation

The St.Cross LF series of "Round and Flat" jumpers are designed for use where maximum flexibility is required.

This flexibility is due to the special conductor design that changes, smoothly and without stress, from a flexible flat section in the middle to a round (0.5mm diameter) tinned conductor. This is then suitable for direct soldering to the board or for assembly to a connector.

The insulation is Nomex* to UL 5188 that has excellent temperature resistance. It is ideal for most soldering techniques as it unaffected by soldering process chemicals.

A combination of jumper and socket, suitable for mating with strip headers, is an extremely cost effective method of connecting PC boards.
